  • 11 DAYS – ON SAFARI /  TOUR THROUGH NAMIBIA

    • After receiving your rental vehicle, the drive takes into the Kalahari in the vicinity of Mariental. On Day 2 your journey takes you deeper down south and you will have the opportunity to experience the Namib Desert with its Fish River Canyon, Aus with its Namib Feral Horses and the charm of the little harbour town Lüderitz. In Lüderitz you have the chance to visit the ghost town of Kolmanskop as well as exploring the harbour on a boat trip. Via the Tiras Mountains, the road takes you to Sossus- and Dead Vlei as well as Sesriem Canyon. After that, Swakopmund has a lot to offer in regards to activities and excursions which you can make use of. From Swakopmund the road takes you into the extraordinary Damaraland with its renowned rock engravings at Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest, Burnt Mountain and the Organ Pipes, which are all fascinating geological features that are several million years old. The “Grande Finale” of your self drive safari consists of an overnight visit on a Game Farm in the central west of Namibia. Return to Windhoek via Omaruru.

  • 8 DAYS – ON SAFARI /TOUR THROUGH NAMIBIA

    • This tour is a shorter version of the Tour_SD_01.
      After receiving your rental car, the road takes you to the Kalahari Anib Lodge near Mariental. From here the road leads you into the vicinity of Sossusvlei. Experience the desert in all its beauty and “get to know” Sossusvlei, Dead Vlei and Sesriem Canyon. On Day 3 you take the road to Swakopmund with its charm and flair. Swakopmund has a lot of activities to offer and you will not be bored during your stay here. On it goes into the extraordinary Damaraland. Via Outjo you depart to the Etosha National Park, where you spend your time game driving and –viewing. Return to Windhoek on Day 8.

Services and Conditions

• Included in the rate:
  • Rental Vehicle (please note the Car rental company terms and conditions)
  • Accommodation in 2Bed bungalows (Single accommodation available at an extra charge)
  • Meals as specified
  • 15% VAT
  • A 2% Tourism Levy on Room/ BB accommodations, 1% Tourism Levy on “all inclusive” accommodations
• Not included in rate:
  • Additional medical- and travelling insurances,
  • Additional accommodation, activities, Personal extras, e.g. drinks in restaurants/lodges, telephone, gratuities etc.
• Conditions:
  • At confirmation of reservation, a 25% non-refundable deposit of the tour price is payable. The booking will be confirmed after receipt of the deposit. The difference must be paid at least 30 days prior to the departure date.
  • Bank transfers must please be made in South African Rand (1:1 to the Namibian Dollar). Please fax the copy of the transfer to us.
  • If a cancellation is done within 19-35 days prior to tour start 30% of the tour price, 11-18 Days 60% is payable. If the cancellation is done within 11 days of tour start, the full tour price is payable.
• Kindly note:
  • Malaria-Prophylaxes is recommended for Namibia's North.
