- The speed limit in urban areas is between 60 and 80 km/h and 120 km/h on open roads.

- Never leave valuables (wallets, cash, passports and travel documents) and bags visible in your vehicle.
- Make use of “car guards” when parking in town.
- Store important documents and valuable devices (camera etc) in the safe of your hotel.
- Please refuel the vehicle (also check oil, water and tyre pressure) wherever you can as some fuel stations in remote areas sometimes don’t have fuel on stock. Always take enough fresh drinking water and light snacks/foods with, so breakdowns can be avoided or better outlasted.
- 'What to bring’:
- You only need to bring your personal items, sunblock, mosquito repellent, hat, swimsuit, camera, binoculars, torch, a pair of comfortable walking-shoes as well as a good mood.
For the mild winter, light summer clothes will be efficient during the day. Do not forget to take something warm for the chilly evenings; a tracksuit and windbreaker are ideal for camping safaris. For the rest of the year we recommend light clothes, which are not 'dust sensitive'.
